Ted Nugent

Ted Nugent has been known for cranking his Gibson Byrdland and performing like a madman since his days with the Amboy Dukes. In the thirty years since departing the ‘Dukes, he has established himself as a successful solo artist and guitar legend.

An avid hunter as well as a musician, the Nuge’s restless spirit has driven him into many other ventures – including stints as a radio show host and a regular contributor for numerous publications. In recent years Ted has become known as an author as well, penning the cook book Kill It and Grill It and the novel God, Guns, & Rock 'N' Roll, a New York Times bestseller. In 2006 he took part in VH1’s Supergroup, a reality TV show following the formation of the new band Damnocracy. When he’s not spending quality time with family, the Whackmaster is setting attendance records at venues worldwide.

Mick Brown

"Wild" Mick Brown

As the co-founder of Dokken, "Wild" Mick Brown has kept their beat since the beginning, and today he also keeps the beat for Ted when the Nuge is on the road.

From the birth of Dokken, "Wild" Mick continues to rock out; both in the studio and on the road. He’s always been dedicated to the music and the fans. In an old interview with Music and the City, he said, "It’s about being a musician and playing. What are you supposed to do when you’re 47 like I am and you’ve been rocking your whole life. The ones who are really musicians and really enjoy it stay with it."

If you’ve seen "Wild" Mick live or listened to his music, you’ll be quick to notice that not only is he a gifted, rockin’ drummer, he really enjoys what he does. Ted noticed too and had Mick join him on his Unleash the Beast Tour. Mick will continue to tour and rock out with Ted on this year’s tour.

What else makes Mick "Wild"? According to Dokken.net, he’s always found cracking a joke, creating havoc and making a mean Jim Beam and Coke!
