Log Cabin Manufacturers, LLC a Pennsylvania based log cabin manufacturer, is proud to announce that their Sportsman’s Cabin Series will be featured on 'Ted Nugent's Spirit of the Wild' television series starting fall of 2007 on The Outdoor Channel. Log Cabin Manufacturers, LLC is currently constructing a large log cabin on the Nugent’s Michigan property; construction is expected to be completed in July.
“Ted came to us in March, 2007 after seeing our product at a local outdoor show where Ted was the featured speaker. Ted explained that his family had recently lost their home, actually had to bulldoze it over, because of mold issues that they were having with the structure. Mr. Nugent further explained that they were looking to build a log structure because it was as “organic as nature gets” and wanted to let the world know that there are products on the market today which are renewable resources that are free of man made chemicals” stated Wenda Olmstead, Assistant to the President. “The result was having our quality product and build featured on ‘Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild’.”
“It has been an honor and a privilege to work with the Nugent group on this project,” stated David Null, President of Log Cabin Manufacturers, LLC. “Having been chosen by Ted and Shemane to provide an eco-friendly cabin that satisfies their organic way of living speaks highly of the quality and integrity of our product. We use only the finest kiln-dried northern white pine available in the market today which is free of chemicals and man made additives; our product is as green a product as it gets.”
Log Cabin Manufacturers, LLC also turned to several of its vendors for additional organic support. “There was exceptional teamwork on this project, not only by the Nugent staff, but also with several of our regular vendors that we called to task," Null explained. “We asked our vendors to provide us with products that were energy efficient and/or eco-friendly and they stepped up to the plate and hit a grand slam! Andersen Windows provided an energy efficient window, York International provided and ultra efficient heating/air system and Timber-Ox Exterior Wood Protectants formulated a special organic stain specifically for Ted and Shemane’s cabin.”
“Log Cabin Manufacturers, LLC has built a solid relationship with the Nugent organization because of our product quality and concern for the environment,” stated Null. “It was rewarding to hear Ted associate our product with nature as a ‘match made in SpiritWild heaven, as the Nugent family clearly connects deeply with the heart and soul of American families who dearly cherish our sacred outdoor lifestyle’.”
